This is not a commercial homepage for the sale of records. I am not a vendor. I repeat - I am not a vendor. I only collect records. A couple of people have assumed I sell records, so I want to make it perfectly clear that I don't. I have, however, put up a page for people who want to sell or trade records and memorabilia, called Shaggy's Rock & Roll Trading Post. If you want to buy or sell items, post an ad there. It's free for non-commercial use. I now also allow announcements of upcoming events such as concerts, record fairs and the like to be advertised at the Trading Post.
Who is Shaggy?Update: the NotePal hasn't really worked out. The problem is that it's just too small. I couldn't afford a larger one. The tiny drawing area of this thing makes it dificult to use, and it can't be mapped to a particular window without alot of fuss, so the effective drawing area is so small as to make it impractical. I did mannage to create one or two half reasonable pics with it, though.
I now have a scanner (2 of them, actually) so I can scan some pictures as soon as I do some. I've already started doing that. More will eventually follow.
I'll find some more places to link to in the "Links 'N' Stuff" section of the Shack. This will give users a chance to see some of the hottest of the cool rock & roll sites.
I'd like to include a section on the history of rock, a sort of "On This Day..." kind of thing. I'm not much of a trivia buff though, so I don't know how that would go. I'll have to buy a book on rock trivia, I think. I now have several books. You may notice a little more information than before creeping into the song reviews. I'll have to get more books, though, to become a real officinado of music trivia.
